What you'll do:

As a Specialty Account Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for activity including providing support to deposits operation, leadership, training and serve as secondary decision maker to department supervisor as required.

The Specialty Account Assistant Manager will ensure that proper policy, procedures, and controls are in place and are followed with involved customers and employees as it pertains to deposits operations. May assist NBL treasury management deposits and other banking processes of all Digital Consumer Banking Services, including but not limited to, support for Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and Online Account Opening Systems/Platforms.
Your role will provide day-to-day department support as a liaison between our vendor providers, internal business units, and customer support channels for system/platform changes & release management, issue resolution, system performance, and other on-going project delivery processes.
The Specialty Account Assistant Manager will work closely with Senior Managers of the NBL group to develop both the strategic direction and tactical planning of the digital experience, ensuring seamless and user-friendly interactions.

What you will do:

Responsible for supporting Senior Managers in promoting and building a comprehensive, prompt, and efficient back-office deposit operation and oversight to accounts and transactions. The Assistant Manager performs key processing functions that include essential functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, that are but not limited to:

  • Ensures compliance with federal and bank rules and regulations regarding maintenance functions on deposit accounts and customer records.
  • Assist with ongoing work with the build phase of Gen 3 to ensure timely delivery and correct prioritization.
  • The development of operating procedures further to new products & services launch
  • The assessment of process and infrastructure requirements to support new products.
  • Assist in the development and execution with communication and training plans.
  • Reviews reports to confirm accuracy of maintenance and/or input.
  • Ensure gaps in deliverables are identified early and addressed effectively.
  • Upon assignment, assist in training of assigned skill sets new products and service.
  • Assist with action plans to effectively reduce and manage risk issues related to audit findings, Management Assurance findings, Compliance issues, SOX requirements and Operational Risk
  • Support portfolio growth by identifying cross-sell opportunities to deepen relationships and increase client acquisition and retention.
  • Ensure excellence in customer service by providing service to customers and prospective customers on various banking matters.
What you need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree business administration preferred.
  • 5+ years of direct, related experience
  • Knowledgeable background of the Bank's procedures and policies regarding all banking functions and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Banking Operations and Experience using CRM applications for reporting and opportunity management.
  • Clear understanding of digital best practices
  • Capable of translating and presenting technical concepts into practical business terms in both small and large group settings.
  • Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, treasury management and/or other consumer and commercial banking products and services.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Some project management and organizational skills; ability to create momentum, foster organizational change, and work with other members of senior management.
  • Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences (ex: sales or leadership)
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with leaders, stakeholders, senior technologists, to define business processes, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery results.
