Position Description

Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Coordinates graduate program activities, including application portal updates, application review and assessment, program-related events, and course creation, setup, and scheduling.
  • Maintains program and student information across databases and local files.
  • Prepares reports (compiling and analyzing program statistics), program marketing, and communications.
  • Develops and distributes instructional materials to support faculty and students in adhering to program procedures.
  • Communicates with appropriate main campus Graduate School contacts, as needed.
  • Participates in strategic planning and assists with establishing program standards and objectives.
  • Completes other program-related duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school graduation plus five (5) years progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may exchange for the required experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of higher education and/or state institutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in higher education program management.
