Job Description

Koch Industries, Inc. is seeking a Health & Safety/Process Safety Senior Audit Manager for our Koch Capabilities Compliance Audit team. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia or Wichita, Kansas although alternative-based locations may be considered and reports to the Director, EH&S Audit. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track-record of safety technical expertise, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. This role is not a supervisory position.

What You Will Do

  • Driving environmental, health & safety (EHS) compliance performance excellence by conducting process safety management and health & safety audits as well as assisting Koch businesses with risk assessments, self-assessments, and other advisory projects.
  • Planning and conducting audits at company operations located throughout the world.
  • Providing constructive feedback and insights to facility and business leaders to support continuous improvement and value creation at each site.
  • Creating consistently high-quality audit reports that are accurate, concise, insightful and are delivered on a timely basis.
  • Developing audit tools, assisting with continual improvement of compliance standards and key controls, and assisting with development and implementation of compliance assurance strategies.
  • Training and mentoring site auditors and guest auditors.
  • Championing transformational initiatives focused on increasing the value of services provided to stakeholders.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in safety compliance
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in chemical process safety compliance
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Safety Management, or related field
  • Audit experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Experience in both environmental and health & safety
  • Compliance certification/s (CSP, CIH, CHMM)
  • Project management experience
  • Electrical safety, machine guarding, and OSHA Process Safety expertise
  • Innovative, creative, life-long learner
  • Experience training adult learners
  • Experience with Enablon, Power BI or other data analysis tools

For this role, we anticipate paying $130K - $160K
