Responsibilities

As an Sr. Program Management Support professional with MTSI you will provide the US Air Force Advanced Management Office (AMO) with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to achieve cost-effective, long-term, critical capabilities to support the war-fighting mission of the combatant commanders. This position will be located at Colorado Springs, Co.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

  • Your essential functions will include, and may not be limited to:

    • Provide dedicated support to the Program Element Monitor responsible for a Secretary of the Air Force, Special Programs (SAF/AQL) portfolio.
    • You will work and collaborate on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently
    • Execute analysis of special programs, associated systems to include system acquisition and life cycle management for programming, budgeting, and security policy and applications across multiple Services.
    • You will use your in-depth understanding of special programs, warfighter capability and requirements, DoD system acquisition, programs and defense policy to evaluate issues and provide recommendations up to the Director/GO/SES level on execution and portfolio security policy.
    • Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Required - HQ/AF Staff officer experience
  • Required - 5 years of SAP experience in the last 7 years
  • Required - Able to communicate effectively with/brief senior military Service leadership
  • Desired - Program Management Professional (PMP)
  • Desired- Technical background in engineering, business, program management, cyber, or physics
  • Desired - Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) - certified in Program Management, Engineering, IT and/or Test & Evaluation

Education Requirements:

  • B.S. in Business Administration or Program Management or Engineering. M.S. in Business Administration or Program Management or Engineering. M.S. degree may substitute for two years' experience.

Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
