The Business Data Analyst will provide critical support to Operations, Marketing, and various departments, leveraging their analytical expertise. The position will play a vital role in the company's transition to a data-centric enterprise through the expansion and increased reliance on reporting, KPIs, strategic planning, business case development, and initiative cost/benefit analytics. Critical Areas: Operational forecasting and planning cross-functional analytics and support of strategies to build robust data analysis and improve reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the annual planning (budget) process for over 200 locations, covering seven states and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Updating the monthly forecast in conjunction with leadership.
• Preparing monthly variance analytics comparing results versus plan and forecast, updating the forecast's assumptions or functions as needed.
• Providing ad hoc analytics covering numerous subjects and various functions.
• Collecting data from various sources to update our KPIs and convert it into operational insights useful for planning and decision-making.
• Preparing monthly and weekly reporting packages.
• Helping perform diagnostic analytics to discover opportunities to improve operational efficiency through expense reductions and revenue increases.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree BA or BS in Finance, Business, or related field

3 years progressive experience in analytics and planning

1 year writing and using SQL daily

Excel; Power BI or similar platform
