Purpose of Position

Provides administrative support for Right of Way Department.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee new easements, surface leases & SWD contracts: Review application; send digital files to GIS for review; have field rep approve route; issue contract number & set up file; type contract, get signatures and notarize; route to Accounting for invoicing; and enter into Enertia and SWD databases.
  • Renewals of easements and commercial leases: assist GIS with discrepancies and contact operator when needed.
  • Oversee assignments and amendments: type contract, obtain signatures, route to Accounting for invoicing; mail after payment received, and update databases.
  • Maintain the official Rate and Damage Schedule; make changes as requested by management.
  • Assist customers with any questions or concerns about easement/surface lease application process.
  • Parallel Line Rights - oversee the request and invoicing process; enter in database after payment is received.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and 3 years of administrative experience.

Preferred Qualifications

College degree and 5 years of administrative experience.

Additional Information

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to a minimum of 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.

A background check will be conducted on candidates under final consideration.
