Assistant Facilities Manager

Job Description Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team in Plano on the PepsiCo account.

The AFM will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, programs and workplace services delivery that provides a well-managed and well-maintained building on the campus. In addition, the role places an emphasis on a positive response to the concerns and needs of the building occupants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, in coordination with the client's goals and objectives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • As part of the overall team, ensure the day-to-day operations of the facilities, including hard and soft services, site services, and general maintenance are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent with C&W policies and client directives.
  • Supervise maintenance programs relating to the interior conditions and appearance of the buildings and grounds, including monthly site inspections by team members.
  • Respond promptly to requests for service, including building maintenance, repairs, cleaning needs, etc., from building occupants and for the implementation of ongoing contract programs to address and resolve needs and problems.
  • Maintain furniture inventory in storage and on-site trailers.
  • Supporting in the collection of timely invoices from vendors, troubleshooting purchase order and invoice discrepancies, participate in weekly finance meetings, onboarding new vendors, and creating work orders and purchase orders related to maintaining the client's campus.
  • Assist in providing information and reports necessary for the development of capital and operating budgets for the facility.
  • Online ordering of maintenance and other supplies, as needed.
  • Support Conference and Events team occasionally, as requested.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in commercial or retail real estate with facility management experience required.
  • Experience with maintenance, construction, engineering, and all facets of property operation and building management preferred.
  • CMMS/Work Order Management experience is preferred.
