Responsibilities

The Psychologist conducts psychological assessments using object and projective tests and writes psychological evaluations with diagnosis impressions from those results. The Psychologist consults with the Psychiatrist, Therapists, and utilization review members. The Psychologist reviews evaluation findings with parents if necessary. The psychologist has the assistance of the Psychological Services Coordinator who has 18 years of experience in the testing department.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Must have:

- 2 years post-doctoral experience in psychological assessment

- Knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders, autism, spectrum disorder, ADHD, and attachment disorders (developmental trauma disorder) in children

- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited university

Preferred:

-1 year of in administering, scoring, and interpreting the Rorschach Inkblot Test using the Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS)

- 1 year interpreting cognitive functioning including intellectual, academic, and executive functioning

LICENSURE:

Currently Licensed Psychologist in Texas with Health Service Provider designation
