PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As Worley advances towards sustainable energy solutions, we seek an Electrical & Instrumentation Project Estimator to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting our commitment to sustainability by ensuring accurate estimation of project costs, contributing to the development of sustainable solutions, and maintaining the viability of assets for continued growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare comprehensive estimate packages, ensuring all necessary documentation is included and aligned with project requirements.
* Develop and manage estimate plans and basis of estimate documents in accordance with project timelines and deliverables.
* Conduct discipline quantity take-offs for electrical and instrumentation components, utilizing expertise to ensure accuracy.
* Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams to obtain pricing information and incorporate into estimates.
* Review scope of work and engineering drawings for completeness, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
* Coordinate with all discipline team members to integrate execution plans and best practices into the estimate basis.
* Lead estimate review meetings with project teams and management, serving as a primary point of contact for the estimating department.
* Adhere to pricing sheets, rate tables, and client-specific requirements, maintaining consistency and accuracy.
* Assist in the development of proposal strategy, execution plans, and pricing, supporting the overall project objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL SET
* Experience in an estimating role, preferably within an industrial construction environment.
* Degree, diploma, or certificate in Construction Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited post-secondary institution. Additionally, engineering design, trade certificates, and/or field experience are advantageous.
* Field experience with a focus on electrical and instrumentation scopes, demonstrating a solid understanding of industrial construction projects.
* Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications, performing material take-offs, and quantifying scopes of work to translate into cost estimates.
* Familiarity with heavy industrial field project experience and execution is a plus.
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful individual with strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office software tools, particularly MS Word and Excel.
* Strong time management skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.
* This position requires on-site project involvement with a long-term duration commitment.
