Role: Distribution-Business Analyst
Work location: SPRINGDALE (US:72762), AR, ON SITE
JOB DESCRIPTION
"Looking for a skilled Business Analyst focusing on the Distribution domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement processes and systems within the meat industry and will leverage this knowledge to drive efficiencies, optimize operations, and support strategic decision-making across our DISTRIBUTION processes. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, meat industry knowledge, and a passion for improving procurement operations through technology and process enhancements.
* Analyze and map current DISTRIBUTION processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within the meat industry context.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, finance, IT, and supply chain teams to gather requirements and define business needs for DISTRIBUTION system enhancements and process improvements.
* Develop and maintain detailed business requirements documents, process maps, and use cases for DISTRIBUTION system implementations and upgrades.
* Serve as a liaison between the business units and IT teams, ensuring that DISTRIBUTION system functionalities align with business needs and industry best practices.
* Assist in the selection and implementation of DISTRIBUTION technologies that support the unique requirements of the meat industry, including vendor management, contract lifecycle management, and spend analysis tools.
* Conduct market analysis to stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technology advancements that could impact the DISTRIBUTION process.
* Support the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems across the organization.
* Monitor and report on the performance of DISTRIBUTION processes and systems, recommending and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide training and support to end-users of DISTRIBUTION systems, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools necessary to perform their roles effectively.
* Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with specific experience in the Source to Pay domain within the meat industry or a closely related field.
* Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes, particularly as they relate to the meat industry.
* Experience with implementing and optimizing DISTRIBUTION systems, such as ERP modules, eProcurement platforms, or vendor management tools.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
* Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
* Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices."
