Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Echocardiographic Technologist to join a dedicated team to provide exceptional healthcare services to our military community. This opportunity requires a skilled and compassionate echocardiographic technologist to join our healthcare team at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX "Military City".

Job Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
• Administer medications and assist with treatments.
• Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in health promotion and wellness activities.

Qualifications:

• Associates' Degree in Echocardiography or graduate from an accredited civilian certification program.
  • Completion of a comparably recognized advanced echocardiography program through one of the branches of the United States Armed Forces will also meet the requirements for this position.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must have a current specialty area certificate from an accredited national, state or military trained equivalent school.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Experience:

• Must have at least 12 months of hands-on adult echocardiograms experience in the within the past 24 months
• Echocardiograph technicians shall have experience creating 2- D and 3-D images of the heart using high frequency sound waves and special equipment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records.
