Responsible for working closely with the Loan Operations Compliance Specialist to administer the flood insurance program of the Loan Operations Department. Responsible for the pre-closing review on all loans with collateral located in a Special Flood Hazard Area to ensure adherence to Bank policies, laws and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conduct pre-closing/pre-funding reviews for loan files to assure all documentation has been received, ensure the loans are within policy and procedure guidelines, and are complete and accurate; identify exceptions by entering on tracking system.

2. Work closely with insurance agents and lending staff to resolve any loan file or customer issues.

3. Track flood insurance and force-place policies according to bank policies.

4. Provide assistance with all audits and annual compliance exam.

5. Support management with written internal procedures.

6. Adherence to all policies and procedures of the Bank including BSA/AML.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

These specifications are guidelines based on the minimum experience preferred to perform the essential functions of the job. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines:

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in Loan Operations.

* Knowledge and experience with the regulatory environment and applicable bank regulations.

* Excellent communication, documentation, organizational and analytical skills.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in an effective and efficient manner with minimal supervision.

* Strong time management and stress management skills.

* Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and effective, especially under pressure.

* Willingness to adapt to changing business needs, deadlines, and extended work hours.
