Job Summary

We are looking for an outgoing and responsible Lifeguard to join our team from March to August. We are located in the beautiful hill country of Boerne, TX.

Responsibilities

Must be able to watch and listen for distressed swimmers.

Must be proactive by noticing unsafe situations for swimmers and willing to caution swimmers.

Maintains order of equipment and areas surrounding swimming pool.

Inspects facilities for cleanliness including restrooms in swim area.

Must be able to administer first aid when needed and call 911 when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

Prior experience in lifeguarding a plus.

Must have Lifeguard Certification from approved organization.

WSI / LGI Certification a plus.

Must have CPR / First Aid certification from approved organization.

Good physical health and stamina - able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis

Flexibility to work shifts - including weekdays and weekends into the nights.

Ability to follow instructions with little or no supervision

Excellent organizational skills as well as time management

Must be a fast pace worker and work well with others

Multi-tasking skills

This is a seasonal, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Rooms.

Hours and days will be on a needed basis, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

The employee will be required to sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or swim at any given time and lift, move up to 25 pounds.

Must be eligible to work in USA.
