Summary:

In this role, you will transform healthcare organizations' supply chain operations into a vital, collaborative, and strategic function. You will aid in the control of escalating costs and boosting efficiencies while improving operational, financial, and clinical outcomes at our provider hospital organizations. You will provide subject matter guidance, mentoring, and leadership to assist in transforming Supply Chain Operations to optimal performance levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify operational gaps across the healthcare organization's supply chain continuum such as strategic planning, organizational structure, contracting, purchasing and procurement, logistics, inventory management and control, sterile processing and accounts payable. Develop recommendations to reach leading practice.

  • Using Lean or other performance improvement concepts, suggest modifications to supply chain processes to reduce variation or increase customer satisfaction.

  • Develop, lead and track project plans, identifying project issues and recommending viable solutions.

  • Manage mid to senior-level provider relationships and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred, advanced degree a plus.

  • Five or more years of relevant experience required, to include healthcare supply chain operations management and/or healthcare supply chain consulting.

  • Knowledge and practice of process improvement methodologies required.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (AHRMM) or related certifications a plus.

  • Experience leading and supervising project resources preferred.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$88,900.00 - $132,250.00
