Summary/Objective:

As an Asset Management Analyst with a leading commercial loan servicer, you will play a vital role in supporting the asset management team, embodying the core ethics of the JLL, and collaborating closely with asset managers to managing a portfolio of commercial/multifamily loans. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and monitor the performance of various commercial real estate loans, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to mitigate those risks.
Analysts will be relied upon by Asset Managers, the Transactions Team, and Senior Management to analyze the financial performance of the portfolio and provide thoughtful analysis which will be heavily utilized for JLL's overall risk assessment. Building positive and professional rapports with the Asset Management team, JLL Production, Agency colleagues, and Borrowers is a key component to the Analyst providing value to the platform. The Analyst, with guidance from Asset Managers and Portfolio Managers, will be expected to proactively manage risk while being available as direct support for the Asset Management team for analytics, reports and various projects.
Essential Functions:
Portfolio Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of commercial loan portfolios, including reviewing loan documents, financial statements, rent rolls, and other relevant data.
Analyzes annual and quarterly financial statements for an assigned portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties in accordance with best practices and the requirements of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and Other Investors.
Work with clients to reconcile financial statement variances and general questions regarding the operations of the property.
Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies with Asset Managers and leadership to minimize loan delinquencies and defaults. Monitor market trends, property performance, physical condition, and borrower financial health to proactively address any emerging risks.
Assist in preparation and delivery of reports as required by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and Other Investors.
Support Asset Managers by conducting research for client value-add initiatives.
Review, prepare and make recommendations for releases from all escrows including: replacement reserve, repairs, insurance loss, etc.
Conduct local market research using JLL provided resources to understand economic drivers and property specific impacts.
Assist Asset Managers in preparing communication with Agency Lenders, preparing Action Plan analysis, and other ad-hoc requests to support the team.
Contribute to data compilation to assist with audit and department initiatives.
Conduct on site property inspections to assess physical condition of collateral assets.
Communication with lender partners regarding questions about their portfolio.
Prepare and submit assigned reports to management and investors, as required.
Lead individually assigned departmental tasks to support the team.
Other duties as deemed necessary

Qualifications Required:
Undergraduate degree with a focus in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business
Preferred with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency
Strong math, verbal, writing, and organizational skills
Strong time management skills and ability to operate under demanding deadlines
Proven track record of excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask and work on several transactions simultaneously
Ability to recognize and mitigate risk
Detailed oriented with ability to audit own work
Ability to work independently and in teams
