Location: Dallas, TX
Salary: $37.98 - $41.94/hr

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Plumber to oversee the daily operation of the water and steam systems at our airport facility. As the Master Plumber, you will be responsible for performing both preventative and corrective maintenance on multiple water treatment and steam systems. You will need to have a strong understanding of commercial plumbing functionality and demonstrate technical expertise in building infrastructure. This position requires working closely with the Facilities Team to ensure efficient and safe maintenance practices and minimize downtime through proactive anticipation of repairs and maintenance. Additionally, this role may require working off-hours shifts, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities:
Oversee operation, repair, preventive maintenance, and installation of piping and valves for the building's steam and water piping/plumbing systems.
Understand the engineering design and operational aspects of critical support systems and components, quickly identifying and resolving system shortcomings and responding to operational and emergency situations.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, providing recommendations for systems improvement and Capital Projects.
Monitor and maintain heating and cooling valves, water cooling equipment, boilers, heating and hot water equipment, pumps, valves, piping, and filters.
Review logs to ensure proper equipment operation and report any problems/malfunctions.
Liaise with Operations Manager/Chief Engineer or Regional Operations Manager regarding work orders, job completion dates, priorities, and estimates.
Complete all assigned JLL and Client required training and maintain compliance with training standards.
Provide training and supervision to expand the capabilities of the operations staff.
Maintain compliance with safety procedures, codes, and laws, and actively participate in resolving environmental health and safety issues.
Utilize the Client's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all work performed.
Update work order status in real-time and escalate problems or issues to Manager when necessary.
Collaborate with the Parts/Material Supervisor to ensure availability of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Assist Manager in scheduling and reporting activities.
Attend work and safety meetings as required.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational degree program preferred.
Minimum of ten (10) years of technical experience in commercial plumbing infrastructure, with expertise in HVAC, boilers, valves, pumps, backflow preventers, general plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Ability to analyze data, make decisions, and manage competing priorities.
Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as MS Office and CMMS systems.
Ability to work effectively in teams with other trades.
Plumbers License and certification in Backflow Preventers preferred.
Must be physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs, working from heights, climbing, bending, kneeling, stooping, and working in adverse conditions.
Availability for call-in work and flexibility to perform other duties as required.
