As our CNC Machinist, you will be a part of a team responsible for working closely with management, co-workers, and vendors to meet production requirements. You will support the lean process to promote cost reductions and maximize profitable growth, provide excellent customer service and quality, and promote continual improvement and safety.


Criteria for Success:

  • Mechanical aptitude to learn quickly and demonstrate proficiency
  • Technical Expertise: Ability to read and edit CNC programs, understand feeds and speeds, ability to use and read measuring equipment, ability to run a two-machine cell
  • Some experience operating CNC and manual lathes and mills preferred
  • Experience using Google Apps and G-Suite applications is a plus

What will you be Accountable for?

  • Set up and run a variety of lathe, mill CNC, and manual lathe machines, and perform side operations during the machine cycle time
  • Process job orders ensuring daily prioritization and workflow to meet production demand
  • Maintain a safe working environment while ensuring that all tasks are conducted with a safety-first attitude
  • Participate in Lean Initiatives, adhering to quality control processes, reducing waste, and driving Continual Improvement
  • Maintain equipment ensuring it is clean, orderly, secure and in proper working order, informing Shop Supervisor of attention needed
  • Perform other non-essential, non-frequent duties as required within job classification and qualifications
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make suggestions
