IT Purchasing Analyst

Responsibilities:
Monitor daily intake of purchase requisitions and ensure timely processing within established service levels.
Review requisitions for completeness and proper approvals.
Proactively manage requisition queues, prioritizing fulfillment as needed.
Maintain effective communication with requestors and vendors, ensuring timely responses.
Prepare and process purchase orders for IT requests (hardware, software, and services) in line with purchasing guidelines.
Assist in developing and updating requests for proposal (RFPs), obtaining quotes from vendors to optimize procurement costs.
Manage a list of approved suppliers and foster ongoing relationships.
Establish and monitor metrics for continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Coordinate Return Merchandise Authorization requests from vendors and ensure timely order processing.
Cultivate collaborative relationships with vendors and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and enhance synergies.
Analyze spending trends and inventory control to identify cost-saving opportunities for future purchases.
Contribute to the establishment of governance processes for procurement procedures and standards.
Validate product and service receipts, submitting invoices for approval within predefined SLAs.
Ensure vendor invoices comply with contract terms and purchase agreements.
Resolve issues related to vendor purchase orders to expedite invoice processing.
Manage and resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices.

Requirements:
Minimum of three years of experience in purchasing functions and procurement processes.
Familiarity with finance, accounting, and invoicing functions.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service skills with a professional and tactful demeanor.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with regulations and company policies.
Broad knowledge of the IT services industry and comprehensive understanding of IT hardware and software.
Effective prioritization and time management abilities.
Strong analytical skills and resource utilization for problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with individuals at all organizational levels, both within and outside the IT department
