Controls Engineering Intern

Job/Internship Description
In this role you will support an engineering team in creating and testing standard logistics system building blocks for usage globally by the operations organization. You will work as part of a cross functional team of highly experienced mechanical, controls, and contract engineers. These building blocks will provide for a backbone of all standard offerings. Dematic's global solution development and project execution organizations will configure and reuse the building blocks in flexible way to rapidly deploy customer solutions.What we offer:

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Support controls engineering of standard modules and solutions for repeated use by Dematic's organizations.
- Support controls engineering activities in Dematic's state-of-the-art solution center.
- Tasks may include: generating controls description of operation, controls layouts, drawings, emulation models, SCADA, PLC software, and documentation.
- Provide feedback on challenges and recommendations for process, tool, and product improvements to drive organizational efficiencies and best-in-class customer offerings.
