Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary Range: $25 - $30 per hour

Join our team as an Ocean Logistics Coordinator, where you'll take charge of coordinating and overseeing the movement of shipments for our clients both domestically and internationally. Collaborating closely with various company offices, agents, and service providers, you'll ensure timely, budget-friendly, and customer-specific delivery of shipments. Your duties will include tracking shipments, updating reports, entering data into operational systems, and collaborating with a Project Manager to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery as per customer requirements.
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, arrival notices, and invoices.
• Track and trace shipments, alert clients as needed, and manage receipts.
• Resolve shipping issues such as delays, damages, and lost shipments.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and monitor transportation costs.
• Review freight invoices for accuracy and address any discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of experience in import/export, particularly focused on ocean-related operations.
  
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Basic understanding of logistics processes.
• Experience with transportation management software preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management is desired.
• Previous work in a transportation or logistics company is a plus.
