Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually stunning and effective design solutions that align with MADD's brand identity and goals. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and versatile designer with a keen eye for detail, a passion for creativity, and the ability to bring concepts to life.

This is a remote, work from home position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop comprehensive multi-channel original designs for campaigns, from concept to production, that support and advance MADD's brand and mission among its target audiences, while staying within budget.
  • Provide creative insights and guidance on how to best reach intended audiences and bring concepts, ideas, and stories to life.
  • Ensure all design solutions meet creative strategies while balancing business objectives, customer needs, best practices, and performance results.
  • Partner with Sr. Marketing Director and other cross-department employees and leaders to develop and align the marketing communications plan.
  • Design and edit print assets, including but not limited to layout, photography, graphics, and content for brochures, PSAs, posters, flyers, direct mail, billboards, and any new revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Design and edit digital assets including e-mails, web banners, digital ads, and graphics & and images for the MADD website, intranet, social media channels, etc.
  • Manage graphics standards for logos, stationery, PowerPoint, and other collateral.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, design tools, and technologies to continually improve and enhance design capabilities.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Proficient in Design Software: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and styles.
  • Creativity: Ability to think creatively and outside the box, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts.
  • Additional Skills (Preferred):
    • Motion Graphics: Experience with motion graphics and video editing tools.
    • Web Design: Basic understanding of web design principles and experience creating digital assets for online platforms.
