The global tax headquarters of Huntsman has an immediate opening for an International Tax Manager in The Woodlands, Texas.

Job Scope

The successful candidate will work in a stimulating environment with U.S. domestic and U.S. international tax projects. Huntsman has an in-house tax function that offers multiple tax career paths with the requisite internal training and industry and technical experience but not so large that we must push our people to specialize too early. We want the successful candidate to feel they are both learning from and contributing to the overall success of the department.

As the International Tax Manager, you will:

• Assist the Corporate Tax Department with accounting for income taxes for the international tax components of the tax provision.
• Have significant involvement in preparation and review of the international components of the US income tax return filings.
• Preparation and review of quarterly and annual multinational ASC 740 calculations and analysis.
• Management of the transfer pricing calculations and documentation process for corporate cost charges.
• Research and tax planning projects in varying capacities.

Required Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Master's Degree a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience (5 years preferred) with international tax and income tax preparation in a large public accounting firm or industry tax department; ASC740 experience is a plus.
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision and Alteryx software is a plus.

Special Qualifications (Training, Technical skills, etc.):

• CPA, preferred.
• PC Proficiency required in MS Office, Microsoft Excel and Tax Research tools.
• Excellent writing and communications skills.
