Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an on-call position available for an on-call construction inspector. This position will have some hybrid flexibility when not on job sites and could potentially be converted to a regular, full-time benefits-eligible position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include conducting construction site observations to verify compliance with construction documents and other applicable standards; tracking quantities; coordinating with the contractor and owner; Coordinate and oversee survey and material testing. Travel to job sites will be required.
The successful candidate must have at least 5 years of experience and an Associate's degree or higher in Construction Management Engineering, or Technology, Civil Engineering or Technology.
A desirable candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
- Construction Inspection experience
- Project Management Experience
- Material Testing experience
- Survey experience
- CAD experience
