We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join us as a Tax Senior at our corporate headquarters located in The Woodlands, Texas.

Job Scope

In this role, based on your experience, you will have an opportunity to leverage technology for the preparation and review of U.S. tax compliance and reporting, provide support for the quarterly and annual tax provision process, and participate in other special projects.

Technology experience will be an important skill.

Prioritized Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of the U.S. corporate income tax compliance and reporting, including Federal and multistate, with exposure to U.S. International
• Leverage technology to enhance tax process efficiencies.
• Tax computation modeling and documentation.
• Involvement in the calculation and review of quarterly and annual ASC 740 calculations and analysis
• Support global tax planning initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

Specific Skills and Knowledge:

• Minimum of 2 years of corporate tax compliance experience in a large public accounting firm or large corporate tax department
• Must demonstrate confidence with leveraging technology and have a strong daily working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and workbooks (Alteryx and OneSource Income Tax experience is a plus)
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
• Must be an independent self-starter with a high level of confidence and a critical approach to matters.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• CPA or JD preferred but not required.
