An individual with extensive experience in Storage Management on z/OS. Displaying a range of disciplines, environments, and storage best practices and possessing skills and technical experience in Broadcom Storage Management Solutions such as Vantage, Disk, CA1, or similar software. Strong hardware knowledge for DS8000 and TS7700 or similar storage hardware is also helpful. The consultant will provide technical assistance and recommendations to clients on efficient storage administration and resource management, backup and recovery, tape management, and conversions for our solutions. Additional knowledge of S3 cloud storage and cyber vault would be a plus. The ability to travel to client sites is required for this position.

Primary Functions

Duties include but are not limited to the following: presentation, demonstration, installation, configuration, and conversion for storage management solutions. Secondary responsibilities include general z/OS support for these solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive adoption of Broadcom Software solutions at customer sites

• When requested by support management, provide on-site and remote assistance for the assigned products. Representing development when on-site assistance is required.

• Provide feedback to the value stream to assist with product, development, marketing, and quality of the solutions.

• Provide feedback to product management on customer requirements for future product updates.

• Provide on-site and/or remote technical activities such as technical updates, proof of concept (PoCs), or Proof of Value (PoVs) for our customers.

• Assist in conversions from competing solutions to Broadcom Software solutions.

Technical Skills and experience

• 8+ years' experience with z/OS mainframe storage management.

• Experience with SMPE installing z/OS products, OMVS, allocation of z/OS data sets, MVS Commands, and Utilities. Use of ACF2, Top Secret and RACF helpful.

People and Communication Skills

• Ability to foster lasting relationships with customers and our partners.

• Solid communication skills with the ability to give technical presentations.

• Ability to listen to client requirements and organize them into a business needs and objectives list.

• Ability to provide written communication back to management, project managers, and customers.

• Ability to provide knowledge transfer of our solutions and instructions to run the solution after implementation.

Key Requirements

A senior consultant will have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT. Minimum Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,200- $152,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
