Position: Relationship Banker I/II/III - Dripping Springs Financial Center | Division: Sales & Service

Work Days: Monday - Friday, & rotating Saturdays | Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 7:45 AM- 6:15 PM, and Saturdays 8:45 AM-1:15 PM

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver outstanding service to our customers in order to meet established goals:
    • Use a consultative sales approach in order to deliver the full scope of Broadway's capabilities and fulfilling customers' stated and unstated needs.
    • Discover and escalate referral opportunities to the appropriate Specialist partner and ensuring timely follow up.
    • Ensure customers are introduced to appropriate team members to ensure seamless relationship management and to leverage specialists' knowledge and experience for additional opportunities.
    • Maintain good working knowledge of the bank's full scope of products and services to ensure ability to make appropriate recommendations and referrals.
  • Expand new and existing client relationships:
    • Creating an exceptional customer experience by building relationships, assessing needs, recommending products and services, and executing the opening process for the following: consumer deposit account, savings accounts, time deposit (CD), safe deposit boxes, consumer loans, and credit cards.
    • Actively participate in campaigns and promotions, ensuring that activities are completed in a timely manner and that follow up activities are scheduled accordingly.
    • Effective use of EnAct to capture client information, record client activities, schedule follow up activities, identify next likely sales opportunities and other related activities to facilitate robust customer relationship management.
    • Complete new customer/new account on boarding activities as prescribed.
    • Maintains excellent customer service and has the ability to problem solve customer requests.
  • Meet or exceed operational standards:
    • Perform account openings, customer maintenance, processing loan applications and closing loans in keeping with established procedures in order to ensure timely service delivery.
    • Process a variety of customer transactions, which may include cash handling by hand, via cash recyclers, ATMs and/or Automated Banking Machines.
    • Ensure customer transactions are processed in keeping with all compliance, regulatory and procedural requirements.
    • Adhere to established safety and security protocols.
    • Adhere to established cash handling and check cashing procedures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by Financial Center Manager.
  • Relationship Banker II - above accountabilities plus:
    • Ensure the needs of the customer are being meet and assisting them with deepening the relationship by cross-selling and referring to partners when financial needs are identified such as Business Banking, Mortgage (real estate secured & portfolio mortgages), Merchant Services, Wealth Management or Treasury Management.
    • Effective use of all applications and systems utilized in the banker role.
  • Relationship Banker III - above accountabilities plus:
    • Expert in processing all consumer loans including Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit from application to closing.
    • Demonstrate high proficiency in first contact resolution for issues with banking services and accounts.
    • Expert in all applications and systems utilized in the banker role.
    • Acts as a mentor for colleagues and supports branch leadership activities.
    • Ability to provide coaching and instruction to others on complex matters involving high levels of detail.

Work Experience Requirements:

Relationship Banker I:

  • Previous retail or consultative sales experience.
  • 4-year degree and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience in retail sales and service.
  • Demonstrated Sales & Service experience that includes proven success in establishing and meeting sales goals.
  • Experience in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Relationship Banker II:

  • 1-2 years of retails banking or financial services experience.
  • 4-year degree and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience in retails sales and service in lieu of retail banking and financial services experience.
  • Demonstrated Sales & Service experience that includes proven success in establishing and meeting sales goals utilizing the consultative sales approach.
  • Experience in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Relationship Banker III:

  • 2+ years of retail banking or financial services experience.
  • 4-year degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in retails sales and service in lieu of retail banking and financial services experience.
  • Demonstrated Sales & Service experience that includes proven success in establishing and meeting sales goals utilizing the consultative sales approach.
  • Experience in the use of personal computer, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college-level coursework is desirable.

Other Qualifications:

  • Meet and maintain financial responsibility, character and general fitness standards along with all other established requirements for an individual Loan Originator in accordance with Regulation Z. Completion and successful passing of pre-employment testing.

Other Requirements:

  • Work involves sitting, extended periods of standing, occasional walking and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires close visual acuity.
  • Occasional travel within a geographic area may be required.
