LOCATION:

The position will be based at 3147 Jim Christal Rd, Denton, TX 76207, and will be traveling across all 84 Lumber locations nationwide.

PAY: $45,000, plus $500 monthly bonus after completion of training and start traveling.

SCHEDULE:
Typically falls within 7am-5pm, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays, on a rotating basis. You will work a minimum of 48 hours. However, hours may vary depending on location/store.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Field Operations Manager is an almost 100% travel position assisting stores with operations. It includes marketing, sales, and management. An essential part of the position is flexibility. The Field Operations Manager will travel full-time to all 84 Lumber locations nationwide, for two weeks at a time per assigned location, assisting with a variety of special projects, utilize operational knowledge to assist with store inventory, and seamlessly assist in our stores experiencing staffing challenges. This role will provide an advanced education in management and operations and will provide valuable knowledge learned from multiple store Managers, Co-Managers, and DVP's. Assignment locations are based on current projects and store location needs. Travel reservations such as flights, rental vehicles, and hotel accommodations are handled by 84 Lumber's Travel Department.

This position has a uniform policy that requires that all associates are clean shaven daily.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position requires working in a highly precarious place near moving mechanical parts. This position requires working outdoors and being exposed to wet, humid, hot and/or cold weather conditions. This position is exposed to vibrations, potential risk of electrical shock, airborne particles, and chemicals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position involves frequently standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, talking, listening, and writing. Periodically lifts up to 80 pounds and stoops, crouches, climbs, crawls, and balances.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsibilities

Members of the Field Operations team manage a variety of special projects, using operational knowledge to assist with store inventory and procedures. The ideal candidate will create a seamless transition between staffing when shortages occur. Other duties include:

Product handling.

Inventory control and reduction.

Sales and estimating.

Special projects as assigned


Qualifications

Microsoft Office Suite (previous experience preferred)

Learn to read blueprints and create material list

Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
