JOB SUMMARY

The EHS Air Compliance Analyst will develop, maintain, and optimize software application reports and BI tools related to asset management system, air compliance reporting, venting and flaring regulatory reporting, ESG metrics for internal use and external reporting. They will perform a variety of tasks related to the collection and quality assurance of air compliance and EHS information throughout the organization.


Job requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect and compile information and data from various sources throughout the organization related to air compliance and EHS topics
  • Design and implement data models and dashboards to effectively visualize and analyze air compliance and EHS information.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Perform data collection tasks related to air compliance and EHS information across various departments within the organization.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on collected data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Continuously monitor and update reporting systems to reflect changes in regulations, internal policies, and business requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to users of reporting tools and systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address data-related issues and drive process improvements.
  • Generate internal and external reports on air compliance and EHS performance.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates relevant to air compliance and environmental reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance data management and reporting capabilities.
  • Participate in audits and inspections related to air compliance and EHS data management.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Spotfire, PowerBI, and Microsoft Fabric
  • Knowledge of data architecture principles
  • Ability to collect and analyze requirements effectively
  • Competence in data cleansing and data reporting techniques
  • Experience in implementing agile methodology
  • Aptitude for error-proofing and issue resolution
  • Expertise in query optimization and efficient report design
  • Competency in data analytics and statistical analytics
  • Proficiency in SQL Database management and querying
  • Understanding and experience with reporting under various reporting regulations and frameworks in the oil and gas industry
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of audiences
  • Strong chemistry and mathematics skills
  • Experience with generating presentation materials for various stakeholders


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum: 4 Year/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Preferred: Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Data or Business Analytics.


YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Years of Experience Range: 5-10 years


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Percent of Travel Required: Less than 10%; Travel may be required for required meetings or training


WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting, and standing. In the event that incumbent visits operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame-resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.
