How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Job Description Summary: The IMS Manager is responsible for promoting the deployment of IMS within his/her Division and acts as a change agent in coordination with the Division Project Manager (DPM). Specifically, he/she collaborates with the DPM to deploy the IMS program and support the Process Owners within the Division. Supported by the SAFECOR Representative.

  • Promoting the deployment of IMS within the Division,

  • Training the Divisional Process Owners (DPOs) and supporting them for the GP maturity /convergence assessments,

  • Providing support to the Divisional Project Manager (DPM), the GT/GE Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)and the Divisional Process Owners (DPOs) in their respective missions, such as but not limited to, the completion of GP self-assessment checklists.

  • Compiling and reporting Division convergence level regularly to the SAFECOR representative,

  • Supporting and assisting the DPOs in development of IMS_GP convergence action plans

  • Work with Airgas SAFECOR Representative to ensure IMS program alignment by:

  • maintaining coherence of IMS and sustaining IMS within AMG by ensuring that methodologies are consistent with corporate strategies

  • reporting AMG convergence level at defined milestones to the Airgas Project Manager (APM) for tracking and scorecard updates,

  • regularly monitoring and evaluating the process in order to determine and implement improvement actions, if necessary

  • Ensuring impacted business operations are represented in Airgas Group Standard Integration process which includes but is not limited to providing initial training to newly identified Subject Matter Experts

  • Continuously working with the AMG HSEQ Team to improve IMS compliance to help minimize risks in the field.

  • Ensuring timely completion of IMS actions (i.e. IMS Convergence, IMS Audits, PSSI CAPAs, etc.)

  • Maintaining and continuously improving the process for monitoring the effectiveness of the implementation of all applicable IMS GP processes (per IMS_GP16). This includes but is not limited to:preparing protocols to support the Management Review process implementation, consolidating the summaries provided by each IMS Process Owner on his/her own process, verifying the suitability and overall consistency of this information with the management review meeting agenda,facilitating management review meetings,documenting the decisions made during the management review meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • HSEQ, Engineering, or Project Management degree OR equivalent work experience demonstrated.

  • 2-5 years of experience project management and influencing championing process implementation

  • Ability to plan and lead project meetings with multiple stakeholders

  • Change management and leading transformation

  • Familiarity with data management and visualization

  • Knowledge of IMS is an added benefit.
