Job Description

We are seeking anInplant Manager to work at our customer's site.This person will serve as a liaison between INX and the customer and will be responsible for many functions, including maintaining INX's on-site ink room andmaking ink.As an Inplant Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing technical service, color matching,ink production and dispensing ink
  • Manufacturing batches of ink under 100 lbs
  • Performing Quality Control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches
  • Inventory management and monthly consignment counts
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction by superior service
  • Maintaining sound relations with customers
  • Ensuringthat the INX representative understands any technical problems encountered by customer, resolvingthem immediately and documentingappropriately
  • Directing, coordinating, and planningthe activities of INX Inplant Technicians
  • Communicatingand training all INX Inplant Techs on operational procedures, assuring they are understood and implemented when applicable
  • Providingcontinued operational support and conducting inplant quality audits
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal,written,readingcomprehension and mathskills
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills
  • Have 2 to 5 years in the ink industry, plus1 to 3 years supervisory experience
  • Performtechnical service
  • Be able to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test
  • Manufacturebatches of ink under 100 lbs
  • Perform Quality Control on incoming and on-sitemanufactured ink batches
  • Be responsible for inventory management, record-keeping and housekeeping

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

  • College degree
  • Previous lab, inplant or warehouse experience
  • Customer service skills
  • SAP knowledge
