What You'll Do

We are hiring for a Site Manager in the Greater Houston area (Texas City). You will primarily be responsible for creating value for the assigned customers through the technical service provided.

You will focus on:

  • Maintaining and growing revenue at customer location
  • Oversee site projects and priorities
  • Have ownership for the expected level of service provided
  • Develop and maintain business relationships
  • Lead and mentor others on team, may assign work and schedule workflow
  • Providing value added consultative program control advice to our customers.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Review treatment programs and processes (cooling, boiler, wastewater treatment) to ensure effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention.
  • Management of day-to-day activities and prioritization of projects and responsibilities
  • Development and support of site team.
  • Conduct annual business reviews.
  • Management of customer inventories on site including coordinating orders and deliveries
  • Maintain and build business/customer relationships.
  • Conduct the necessary site and LMS/classroom training programs to understand the overall operations of the territory plants and new customer sites.
  • Develop and implement sales plans on new opportunities with the direction of the Area Manager including documenting ROI. Establish, maintain and prioritize an accurate and current sales funnel in SFDC.
  • Manage profitability of the accounts assigned.
  • Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • 5 years' experience in water treatment, industrial water and utility operations
  • Proven sales track recordwith strong technical and selling skills
  • Experience providing field customer support including technical, operational and laboratory expertise.
  • Ability to function independently as well as in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills - able to accurately and concisely convey complex technical concepts to all individuals of all levels of experience both in a written and oral format
  • Focus on safety
  • Goal oriented individual who requires minimal day to day supervision
  • Experience of managing a team
