Primary Functions:
The Logistics Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and/or coordinating all aspects of BNSF Logistics transportation solutions. This includes operations, carrier and vendor procurement, sales support, and overall facilitation of multimodal solutions within the company's service lines. This position will communicate with various players from customers, field & warehouse crews, ports, and off load sites from the start of a project until its completion.
Basis Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
High school or GED, and/or any other educational specialized schooling
3 to 5 years related experience and/or training in a supply chain or logistics related position.
Basic computer skills, data processing, clerical/administrative, office equipment operations.
Strong customer service skills
Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or another Business-related field
3 to 5 years related experience and/or training in a supply chain or logistics related position.
Basic computer skills, Working knowledge of Word & Excel, and basic data processing
Experience working with Transportation Managements Systems
Working knowledge of transportation costing, price negotiation experience
Strong customer service skills
