What You Can Expect Working in the Service Support and Inventory Intern Position

The Service Support and Inventory Intern will play a crucial role in optimizing the efficiency of service operations at LANGE by focusing on inventory management and administrative support. One primary responsibility of the intern will be to lead efforts in Inventory Accuracy Improvement. The role will be tasked with achieving a reduction in discrepancies between recorded and actual inventory levels. The intern will be responsible for streamlining administrative processes related to task dispatches, aiming to decrease the average time taken to complete these tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in improving inventory accuracy through regular audits and adjustments.
  • Enhance task dispatch efficiency by optimizing processes and reducing administrative time.
  • Contribute to the preparation of parts kits for future tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Responsible for administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining inventory records, and supporting the overall organization of the service yard.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with inventory control systems.
  • Familiarity with CodeReadr, SAGE, and Microsoft Office.
  • Previous administrative support experience.
