The Intelligent Systems Electronics Engineer will be involved in multiple facets of technology development involving sensor enabled geogrids and other monitoring systems.

What You'll Do
  • Reviewing and maintaining existing Intelligent Solutions field test installations
  • Creating new prototypes including both software and hardware development
  • Establishing and maintaining the IoT platform(s) in conjunction with other departments
  • Creating & modifying user interfaces and dashboards
  • Creating and participating in demonstrations related to Intelligent Solutions components
  • Create and maintain project plans and schedules
  • Liaising with suppliers and providing managerial & technical support and assistance
  • Assisting with field installations
  • Meeting with potential customers and others to discuss installations
  • Presentations to management on progress and plans
  • Assisting with the preparation of value propositions and appropriate business cases
  • Other duties as necessary
What You'll Need
  • Understand fundamentals of electronics, including microcontrollers, sensors, IoT platforms, hardware and software design and development and electronics engineering design principles
  • General knowledge of software architecture and programing with experience in either C, C++, C# or Python required. General knowledge of Integrated Development Environments for software development as well as git-hub for software version control
  • General knowledge of hardware design techniques including circuit design and schematic capture as well as ability to create prototypes
  • Familiar with data analysis techniques
  • A minimum or 5 years' experience working on projects involving electronic systems including software, hardware development or project management activities
Your Education
  • BS Electrical/Electronic Engineering, BS Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
