Construction Manager

Sobey Networks, a Boingo subsidiary, is looking for a Construction Manager to join our growing team. Our growth has led to exciting new opportunities including the ability to expand our product portfolio. As our Construction Manager you will work with all facets of our growing business including internal systems, installations, vendors and cost controls. Most importantly, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of people-driven teams, high performance, collaboration, and innovation.

What the job entails:

• Create and manage scope of work documentation for all site build types
• Review and recommend contractor bid pricing
• Manage construction starts and close out packages for iDAS systems
• Utilize existing technologies including project management software
• Manage and approve construction drawings and ensure Boingo standards are being represented

Got what it takes?

• 5-10 years' experience working in the telecommunications industry specifically on iDAS.
• Experience working cross functionally in a complicated organizational structure (Telecommunications or Carrier experience a huge plus)
• Proficient in business tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools, ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• 5 year experience working on the technical aspects of wireless network technology, deployment, construction standards, product and project
• Thorough understanding of fiber optic installation and test standards and an understanding of NEC as it relates to iDAS deployment
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 75% of the year
