Position Purpose:
Student Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) is a 10-week internship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain hands-on experience in sustainability and ecological transformation. They will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and participate in workshops and networking events. The program aims to nurture talent, promote innovation, and foster meaningful connections between students and industry professionals. Overall, the SEED program provides students with the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to make a positive impact in the industry.
Internship dates: June 17th, 2024- August 23rd, 2024
Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function from Sustainability, Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology.
Primary Duties/responsibilities:
General Description: leads projects for customers such as: leading a Continual Improvement initiative(s) and delivering sustainability/waste reduction/cost improvement projects. Also, identify suppliers, spec out equipment; present to customer.
Internships/Co-Ops are focused on learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and procedures.
Candidates may support any of the Veolia North America business functions. During the matching process we will work to have you Intern/Co-Op in the business function of most interest to you.
