Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer - AIOps Monitoring Solutions

Are you passionate about designing and building highly scalable solutions that tackle Fortune 500 IT data center challenges? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where expertise in AIOps and a proactive approach drive innovation?

If so, join our team as a Senior Software Engineer in Plano, TX!

Job Duties:

  • Design and develop robust and scalable monitoring solutions for Fortune 500 IT data centers using Java, Spring Boot, REST Web Services, Kafka, and Microservices architecture.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into elegant and efficient technical solutions.

  • Develop and troubleshoot code, fix performance issues, and optimize system performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.

  • Own the performance and scalability of assigned systems, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.

  • Build and maintain reusable codebases, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

  • Apply machine learning principles to enhance scalability and efficiency of our AIOps solutions.

  • Drive innovation through prototyping and proposing new features and improvements.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in AIOps and related fields.

Skillset:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of industry experience in software development.

  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST Web Services, Kafka, and Microservices architecture.

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

  • Experience with AIOps and machine learning is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of OpenTelemetry is an added advantage.

  • Experience with other monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

  • Experience with Observability solutions like Dynatrace, DataDog, Instana etc. is highly desirable

  • Experience working with mainframe systems is a plus (willingness to learn is also acceptable).

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Passion for learning new technologies and continuous improvement.

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,200- $152,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
