Description

Achieve Best in Class out of stock levels.
* Maintain proper raw material inventory levels utilizing SAP/MRP.
* Create replenishment loads that are optimized to minimize costs.
* Participate in daily production meetings that include all levels of the organization.
* Keep the Production and Supply Chain Managers informed as to any potential inventory problems.
* Utilizing MRP, plan and schedule all raw material and packaging supplies based on the production schedule, inventory on hand, and storage capacity.
* Report on aging inventory, working with Production to reduce aged out product.
* Maintain raw material and packaging master data to ensure lead times, order quantities and vendor information is correct.
* Enter raw material receipts and final product into the purchasing and inventory systems.
* Verify all raw materials are billed correctly based on set pricing and any accessorial charges are appropriate.
* Maintain Raw Material inventory report, updating daily.
* Reconcile physical inventory and prepare month end reports.
* Work with vendors to reduce damaged receipts and deliveries on schedule.
* Work with production group to ensure accuracy of data being reported.
* Complete spreadsheets and update SAP.
* Perform accurate physical inventory of raw materials and packaging supplies - reconcile to reported production usage.
* Work to improve flow of information and record-keeping.
* Drive continuous improvement across the MRP implementation and maintenance of master data profiles and settings to ensure the integrity of SAP.
* Stay engaged and informed of the DX Company Goals.
* Look for opportunities within SAP and other systems to advance the DX transformation and improve automation within MRP.
* Take ownership of DX transformation initiatives through education, training and research.
* Interact closely with various departments within the company such as Production, Traffic, Customer Service, Accounting, Purchasing, and QC Laboratory.
