Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Insure timely receipt and disposition of component part materials by order selection.

Insure the proper and expeditious stocking of all component parts received.

Material handling.

Computer entry transactions.

Perform inventory analyst duties.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs housekeeping and other duties as required.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lifting 50 lbs.(frequently), Standing (constant),Walking (constant), Bending (frequently), Climbing (occasional), Crawling (occasional), Reaching (constant), Grasping (constant), Answering/using telephone (frequently), Hearing (constant), Communicating with co-workers (frequently).

Must understand and follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Must follow written and oral instructions. Vision corrected to 20/20.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

Manufacturing - Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), cold/heat (outdoor). Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:

Forklift, pallet jack, computer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous warehouse experience preferred. Knowledge of shipping procedures and inventory movement principals. Basic knowledge of inquiry and entry on the computer. Ability to drive a forklift. Identify parts and part numbers, and perform math at a level normally acquired through completion of high school. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Ability to understand stocking of inventory product procedure and the movement of inventory product. As a condition of employment, active participation in a Continuous Improvement Team is required.
