Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

  • Ensuring the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to SET safety policies and procedures by identifying, communicating and mitigating hazards
  • Taking an active role on crews by participating in both scheduled and emergency response-based projects
  • Assisting in loading of equipment and supplies for project needs
  • Being able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50lbs
  • Working in a variety of weather conditions
  • The support of various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to:
  • Confined Space Entry – CSE
  • Environmental remediation
  • Waterway response
  • Hazardous materials clean up
  • Will perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER or ability to obtain
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform physical labor under direction of crew leads
  • Ability to respond to out of town projects as needed
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently
  • Industry/Construction experience preferred but not required
  • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record that meets SET insurance guidelines
