InGenesis is currently seeking a Sourcing Specialist to work with our client. In this role, you will provide skilled assistance in the strategic sourcing of goods, equipment, or services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)

* Interact with customers and stakeholders in identifying categories of spend optimal for strategic sourcing.

* Assists in contract negotiations, develops proposals, and implements supplier contracts and agreements.

* Collaborates with suppliers and group purchasing organizations to assess emerging spend aggregation opportunities.

* Develops comprehensive reports and presentations based on supply markets and market intelligence.

* Works with suppliers to drive enabling technology solutions.

* Meets with customers to identify and leverage sourcing and contract value opportunities.

* Executes multiple complex analysis using financial models such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Lease vs. Buy and Economic Value Models.

* Calculates and reports actual and projected sourcing savings by spend categories.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

* Required Education: Bachelor's degree in science, healthcare, or business-related field.

* Preferred Education: Advanced degree in business, management, hospital administration, or related field.

* Experience Required: 3-5 years of progressive experience in contracting, supply chain management, and/or materials management.

* Experience Preferred: 3-5 years of progressive experience within an academic or health care environment with at least 3 years in leading contracting, supply chain management, and/or materials management activities.
