InGenesis is currently seeking a Financial Clearance Associate to work with our client. In this role, you will facilitate access to care and the financial clearance process for patients across a continuum of care served by one or more designated centers.

Essential Job Function

* Verify eligibility/benefits, pre-authorization requirements, available payment options, financial counseling and other identified financial clearance related duties.

* Collaborate with internal or external sources to financially clear patients for care.

* Escalate financial clearance issues to the supervisor or coordinator for resolution.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Associates degree in business, healthcare or related field, preferred.

* Three years' experience in healthcare, insurance, or related field.

* With preferred degree, one year of required experience.

* Preferred Certification: CHAA or CHAM certification.
