Description:TheLicensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPHA) provides assessment, triage,and treatment to individuals diagnosed with mental illnesses who may also haveco-occurring substance use disorders and/or chronic health conditions using arecovery based and trauma-informed perspective.

LPHAswork in partnership with racially and culturally diverse individuals to defineand facilitate their desired life outcomes. LPHAs conduct diagnosticevaluations and provide assessment of strengths, preferences, functionalimpairments and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorder(s) atregular intervals to ensure optimal and personalized services. LPHAs delivertherapeutic evidence-based and best practice interventions including, but notlimited to: skills training throughpsycho-education and patient education strategies, individual, family and/orgroup services, and delivering crisis services with linkages to crisisresources as needed.



  • Graduated from an accreditedcollege or university with a Master's degree with a majorspecialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.



  • Licensed Practitioner of theHealing Arts (LPHA), LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT.
  • Current and valid Texasdriver's license and a clean driving record.



  • Experience performing mentalhealth assessments, diagnosis, and treatment


  • Years of experience dependentupon unit needs.

Hours:8:00AM - 5:00PM or9:00am-6:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Salary: $55,602-$63,616 annually, depending on licensed experience.
