Sr. Manager of Sales Programs

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Sales Programs Manager to join our Marketing Demand Generation Team. The Sales Programs Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales and lead development teams by developing and optimizing prospecting and cadences, monitoring progress, and administering our prospecting automation platform. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales prospecting methodology  that aligns to existing sales processes and frameworks and model best in class prospecting programs .

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to understand target audience segments, market trends, and buyer personas to inform prospecting strategies.

  • Design and implement a structured prospecting and sales program that incorporates various outreach tactics, including email, phone calls, social selling, and personalized messaging.

  • Continuously evaluate and refine prospecting methodologies based on performance data, industry best practices, and feedback from the sales and lead development teams.

  • Stay informed about industry developments and emerging trends in sales and prospecting methodologies, sales enablement tools, and technology solutions.

  • Collaborate with the sales and lead development teams to develop and execute comprehensive prospecting cadences and programs to drive revenue growth.

  • Optimize, identify and recommend areas of improvement and growth on prospecting best practices, cadence performance, etc. 

  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of sales & prospecting cadences, making data-driven optimizations to improve performance.

  • Partner with the marketing demand generation team to align programs with marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Continually measure, monitor, and improve program approaches using industry best practices.

  • Facilitate production meetings to plan, prioritize, and adjust programs as necessary.

  • Work closely with marketing and business systems teams to ensure seamless integration of prospecting programs with lead generation and CRM systems.

  • Partner with Content Marketing, Product Marketing and Demand Generation teams to develop sales activation content and assets to be used in sales & prospecting cadences.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling content, collateral, and resources to support prospecting efforts.

  • Collaborate with the sales leadership, sales training and enablement team for effective adoption and governance of prospecting methodology.

  • Provide training and support to sales and lead development representatives on prospecting techniques, messaging frameworks, and effective communication strategies.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales and prospecting efforts, including conversion rates, pipeline growth, and revenue impact.

  • Present findings, recommendations, and insights on prospecting performance to key stakeholders, including sales leadership and executive management.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Leadership for effective adoption and governance of sales & prospecting methodology.

  • Partner with the sales training and enablement team to develop training materials, resources, and workshops on sales & prospecting best practices and methodologies.

  • Ensure alignment between prospecting programs and sales training initiatives to drive consistent messaging and approach across the sales organization.

  • Establish governance processes and guidelines to ensure adherence to sales & prospecting methodology and compliance with company policies and standards.

  • Monitor and assess the adoption and effectiveness of sales & prospecting methodology through regular feedback sessions, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to sales representatives to overcome challenges and optimize sales & prospecting efforts for maximum impact and success.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have 8+ years of experience crafting sales initiatives with a primary focus on optimizing sales processes and driving revenue growth, preferably within the SaaS industry, with a preference for experience in the EdTech sector.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing sales cadences and programs for large field sales organizations.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience administering sales automation platforms (e.g., SalesLoft, Salesforce).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Background in sales operations, demand generation, or related fields.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and execute initiatives effectively.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
