Job Description

Overview:

The Engineering Co-Op is responsible to support key processes and maintain critical equipment and systems used in the production of photomasks (an image-transferring tool used to produce semiconductor chips). The Co-Op is challenged to complete specific business impacting projects while also supporting ongoing production needs. This experience allows the Co-Op to try on the life of a permanent engineer while also delivering impactful results for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide technical support and sustaining engineering of select process modules
  • Assist in establishing operating equipment specification
  • Support improvements in manufacturing techniques
  • Be part of a team that introduces new process equipment to production operations
  • Interface with product design and development to ensure that processes and designs are compatible

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Basic knowledge of: SPC/data management, clean room operations, and ISO 9000 standards
  • Pursuing Bachelor of Science college degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Computer Engineering or related field.

  • PC Skills / Database spreadsheet application
