Remote Sr Account Executive (127068)

Intrado's Life & Safety has an exciting remote Sr. Account Executive job opening on their Notifications Team of their Healthcare division and will be based in the western to central United States. The Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for penetrating new logo accounts, tasked with prioritizing assigned prospects and selling into new logo accounts accordingly as well as be responsible for selling specific products, solutions and/or services to accounts in an assigned territory and achieving a predetermined sales quota. Essential Duties:

*Prioritize qualified sales opportunities and key prospects within assigned territory
*Execute sales cycle to penetrate the most promising new logo accounts, generating net new West accounts
*Identify and build relationships with the appropriate account buyers
*Establish reputation with assigned prospects as a trusted advisor with industry knowledge and the prospects solution needs
*Proactively identify potential needs of prospects, recommending best-fit solutions with a clear value proposition for the account
*Develop and maintain up-to-date expert understanding of West solutions and general understanding of relevant competitor solutions
*Research and actively identify emerging trends that influence West's value proposition
*Transition the new logo account to an account manager once the first account sale is booked
*Proactively manage pipeline; input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion
*Engage Sales Engineering resources, as needed, to close the deal
*Identify and coordinate timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies
*Achieve assigned bookings quota

Qualifications
Education
*Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, marketing or a related field required.
*Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
Experience
*Minimum 4 years increasingly responsible experience in national sales to include extensive cold calling required, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
*Minimum 1 year sales lead experience preferred
Other
*Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

Preference will be given to candidates with healthcare sales experience.
