Job Overview:
McDermott is seeking a Senior Counsel for our Technology Business. The Senior Counsel will be responsible for contract work to include, technology licenses, joint ventures and equipment sales.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Primary focus will be contract work - technology licenses, engineering agreements, technology agreements, catalyst supply agreements, equipment sales contracts, joint ventures, cooperation alliances and miscellaneous corporate work
- The miscellaneous work involves day to day legal work related to the business units represented, including guidance, employment and environmental law oversight and compliance experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- JD degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience, including in a corporate law or law firm environment, preferably in the oil, gas and petrochemicals industry, with solid contracting
- Experience in Technology Licensing required
