Job Description
Test and Evaluation Engineer Co-op (18018872)

Description

The purpose of this position is to provide technical input and direction to the design and evaluation of new product concepts. They will work in a team environment applying their knowledge of engineering principles and the physical sciences to develop new products.

Responsibilities
  • Design and acquire required test equipment /fixtures from vendors
  • Conduct product evaluations
  • Setup and execute laboratory testing
  • Document tests conducted, results, problems encountered and the solutions developed
  • Participate in global cross-functional teams, including marketing, designers, manufacturing, sales and procurement
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Additional Information

  • Commitment to a full time (40 hours a week) Spring/Summer co-op experience in McKinney, TX from January 2019 through mid-August 2019.
  • Fully furnished apartments will be provided to students who are not from the area.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Junior-level status, or above, working toward a Bachelor's degree in Engineering required. Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aerospace Engineering or Agricultural Engineering preferred.
  • High Mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
