Product Manager for Platform Experiences, Heartland ProFac

About The Team:

Heartland ProFac builds infrastructure for platforms who desire to integrate payments seamlessly into their solutions. ProFac has been a driving force behind Heartland's expansion, thanks to its advanced capabilities, allowing our users to extend Heartland's payment processing directly to their sellers and merchants. As Heartland broadens its range of product offerings beyond just payments, ProFac is poised to spearhead a new era of growth by enabling our platforms to distribute all of Heartland's products to their end users.

Role Overview:

As the Product Manager for Platform Experiences at Heartland ProFac, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the optimal end-to-end user journey. Your focus will be on simplifying platform onboarding, enhancing dashboard experiences, and strategically integrating third-party tools to serve our platform users better. Your vision will ensure our platform remains user-centric, efficient, and ahead of market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Onboarding & Activation: Set the vision for a seamless onboarding experience, ensuring users can effortlessly activate and integrate with Heartland ProFac.

  • Dashboard Management: Define and develop dashboard experiences that empower platforms to effectively manage the health and status of their sub-merchants.

  • Third-Party Integrations: Strategize and decide upon the appropriate times and methodologies for integrating Heartland ProFac with third-party tools, ensuring synergies that enhance our platform users' business operations.

  • User Journey Optimization: Regularly assess and refine the user journey to ensure clarity, ease-of-use, and engagement.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with design, engineering, marketing, and support teams to ensure alignment of vision and flawless execution.

  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure Heartland ProFac's platform experience remains top-tier.

  • Feedback Loop: Establish and maintain channels for user feedback to continuously iterate and improve upon the platform experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a product management role.

  • Collaborative Expertise: Proven track record of partnering effectively with engineers and designers to develop products, with a particular emphasis on front-end surfaces and scaling complex systems.

  • Quality Focus: An unwavering commitment to product excellence coupled with a keen design sensibility.

  • Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to flourish in roles requiring a significant degree of autonomy and responsibility.

  • Communication: Robust written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for detailing customer challenges with precision.
