Job Description

Director, Online Schedule Management - Generation Park

This position will be assigned to San Jac Online with a required physical presence at the Generation Park Campus and will support/travel to all campus locations. This is not a remote position.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Develops and implements a strategic scheduling process for online instruction to meet college goals and enrollment targets. Monitors and analyzes enrollment data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Ensures online offerings comply with relevant accrediting standards and regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Execute and maintain a strategic enrollment management plan for online delivery.
  • Lead the implementation of measurable growth strategies for San Jac Online.
  • Ensure metrics and Key Performance Indicators related to enrollment management measures are met.
  • Guide strategic discussions regarding enrollment goals with instructional leaders and faculty.
  • Maintain current knowledge regarding federal and state guidance, organizational needs, and regulations.
  • Assist departments in implementing compliance practices and monitor and coordinate those activities with the departments.
  • Develop and manage both internal and external relationships, as appropriate.
  • Analyze and document compliance processes. Recommend enhancements to policies and procedures for compliance review.
  • Design and implement training and education programs to enhance compliance awareness.
  • Serve as an expert resource in compliance issue resolution.

Additional Job Functions:

  • Oversee class management and scheduling of class sections.
  • Review of textbooks and open educational resources.
  • Ensure compliance of student registration.

  • Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of personal computer hardware/software, business management systems (i.e., Banner), Blackboard, and the Internet.
  • Administrative experience, including the ability to establish priorities and make difficult choices among competing demands and to make decisions in a consultative and informed manner.
  • Possess the ability and previous experience to lead and motivate staff effectively and consistently.
  • Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of state and federal regulations governing higher education.
  • Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission (SACSCOC) and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB).

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred Education:

  • Master's degree in educational leadership or related field from an accredited institution.

Required Experience:

  • Three (3) years of full-time instructional delivery or scheduling experience at the collegiate level.

Preferred Experience:

  • Five (5) years of online instructional delivery or scheduling experience at the collegiate level.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive and strategic administrative experience in higher education at the community college level.
  • Educational leadership experience on a virtual campus.

Preferred Licenses/Certifications:

  • ACAdemic Learning certification

Salary Grade: 120
